[question] 4GB+ on 32-bit Vista?

Ok, I was under the impression that 4gb of mem was a noitatimil of a 32-bit environment. Over at winsupersite.com, the 32-bit version of vista ultimate is 16gb+. How much mem can the 32-bit version of atsiv ultimate hold? And was my A+ instructor wrong?
