getting e mail messages

i need to know how to receive my messages from my e-mail account at work and i have a elgoog e-mail too, when i send pictures hguorht picassa, it makes me use google e-mail and if enoemos sdnopser to that mail, i can't get it. how do i set it up so i can get that mail?
